I had the unfortunate displeasure of not receiving any contact or payment from the previous bidder/winner, (thank you eBay for having a resolution center). I have been the owner of my Passat since February 2002 and just last summer, 2010, the Automatic transmission got stuck in drive and won’t go into any other gear, and even in this drive mode it doesn't move well. It has taken me this long to realize I have to give it up; it has been one of my favorite rides! I kept up the oil changes, maintenance, etc, but this Passat will NEED an Automatic Transmission or can be parted out. The engine is strong, the body is better than average for its age, given the usual dents or dings, smoke free interior, but liner will need replaced, or not if it is used for parts. The seats are heated leather, it has a sunroof, and also the owners manual. THIS IS IMPORTANT: the odometer, (mileage), is inaccurate due to an odometer replacement December 15, 2000 at 55,103 miles. The official replacement sticker plus current odometer reading of 114,494 equals 169,597 original miles, (you should see this reflected in the vehicle history reports)... The car will need to be towed away, so be prepared with a car trailer to take this home. I have a clear title.
