For auction in this pristine condition 1997 Honda Accord Special Edition in Dark Currant color with less than 45,000 original miles! Purchased brand new by retired woman from Honda Dealership in Southern California in July of 1997. She used this vehicle primarily for driving to the market and around town in the South Bay area. Being in her 80s, she was reluctant to drive this vehicle fast & she never drove on the freeway! As a result, there is absolutely no pitting to front bumper, hood, lighting or windshield as most vehicles of this age have! Winner of the auction will also receive all original owner's books & service records from when the car was new until recent. All servicing done according to manufacturer's recommendations except original owner chose to have the oil changes more often at 3,000 mile intervals. I purchased this vehicle as the second owner, even though it was in great condition it needed all rubber wear items replaced because sat idle in the garage for long periods at a time. Recent service performed: New timing & drive belt, water pump, motor mounts, tires, door lock actuators, brakes, transmission service, radiator service, power steering service plus all other fluids flushed out and replaced by Honda dealership technician. Car needs nothing, drives as new, no rattles, AC blows cold, looks & runs excellent!! Just want to make mention of some minor issues on paint finish: There are surface scratches on back bumper, hood & fenders -- Might be able to be buffed out as paint is still very supple because has always been garaged. There is also a small dent & paint chip on hood, left rims have a few scrapes (drive thru?!?!) but overall very little wear considering this is almost a 14 year old car!
