1980 Honda HONDA

Up for bid is a 1980 Honda CX500 Deluxe motorcycle. I acuired this bike from the original owner and have the sales reciept and some service reciepts which goes with the sale. The cycle looks real nice especially for its age. The bike was adult owned and ridden. It has a new rear Shinko tire with only five miles on it, the front tire has at least half useful tread left on it. Front disc and rear drum brakes are good. the chrome as you can see in the pictures shines and is very nice. The seat has been professionally recovered and I also have the reciept for it. Side covers are intact with no cracks. Speedo and tach faces are not faded. All the lights, horn and other electrics work. Comes with a period Honda aftermarket sissy bar and luggage rack installed. Also has the toolkit and owners manual. The top of the tank has some fade but still shines up but the fade is there nonetheless, the owner rode to work often and the cycle was parked outside when there. A little corrosion on the aluminum frame on the left side of radiator. It does have over 54K miles on it but runs strong and smooth and does not smoke when started. These bikes will last and last if cared for properly as this one was. I cleaned the carbs, changed oil and filter, lubed the rear end and put in new sparkplugs. Have the PA title in my name. Now the terms, The motorcycle must be picked up I will not ship. It is located in Etters, PA 17319 between Harrisburg and York not far off interstate 83. Winning bidder to either pay in full via PayPal or pay a $150 deposit via PayPal within 72 hours of auctions end and the balance at time of pickup. Pickup to be made in a reasonable time when our schedules match, hopefully within two weeks as I need the space. The bike is sold as-is with no waranty.
