1970 Chevelle SS 396 4 Speed 350 HP with build sheet CRANBERRY RED !!! Without a doubt this is one of the most iconic musclecars ever produced! This is a real red with black interior 4 speed SS! Real 396 L34 cars with a build sheet and matching numbers sell for mid to upper 30's. Real SS cars with a build sheet and non matching numbers sell for mid to upper 20'S Nice clones without a build sheet or matching numbers sell for upper teens. Poor clones with a small block or malibu dash 10 bolt ect sell for around 10K. If these statements are reasonably true, than buying a real SS with a build sheet for this amount of money is almost like getting it for free! Will you not get an additional $4500 back at time of sell? I am going to sell this car to the highest bidder regardless of final bid. However I will stop the auction at any time for $4500. Clear Indiana title in my name. I have owned this car about 1 1/2 years. Did nothing with it. Here is what I know about the car. The guy I bought it off of parted it out. It was a complete roller minus engine and trans when he got it. He sold the hood -doors-dash-and gauges-wiring-steering column. He threw the deck lid and fenders away. These items are missing. and gone for good. The original rear end (12 bolt posi 331 with f41 is still in the car) As well as the original wheels. The disc brakes are still on the car also. RUST-yes. The rockers are real good. The floors arent bad either with a couple of spots at the seam. (see pics) I would not replace them. Trunk pan is bad and must be replaced. Car is solid around the windows. Plan on replacing the quarters, outers, trunk pan maybe the inners. I will also include a Sept. of 69 854 CTX block! I also have a 854 engine from a 71 Chevelle SS. This engine in almost complete except carb and manifolds. However the heads and intake are incorrect. You may have your choice of either. Also the car comes with the original bench seat. I also have a set of bucket seats and console. These can be had for an additional $250. I have other Chevelles so I should be able to fill in any missing items on the car such as headlight doors ect. However the dash- steering column wiring is simply gone. The car does have the 4 speed pedals and crossmenber- 765-206-0350 steve delivery maybe available, but you must call first. PERSONAL GUARANTEE- If you inspect this car at my house within 7 days of auction end, and you dont like it for any reason you forfit a $100 deposit but are not required to buy the car. I have some parts included but not shown they are - bell housing-dash pad in good shape-altenator for core- carpet sill plates- rear bumper -taillights-rubber moulding to hold headliner What is missing? windshield-engine 4 speed- dash- maybe the doors- I may have a pair that is useable- deck lid. I have a parts car at a different location I will need to go look at the doors. I dont understand the all questions about the dog house. You almost aways unbolt themand throw them away anyway. The wiring from that car is no longer available. Also the bucket seats and console from that car is also not available. I may have another set of bucket seats and console from another car available. These will be additional in cost to the final bid. Also the engine out of the 71 Chevelle SS and the turbo 400 went with the other car this car will only come with the ctx block. It is the one directly under the middle of the drivers door. Easy repair. should sandblast nicely. This is also where the power streering is coming from. Its still on the frame.
