Vehicle Detail
1973 Volkswagen Transporter Another Vintage Volkswagen brought to you by TheResurrectionProject.net The Resurrection Project is pleased to bring another Vintage Volkswagen to the market. This great little Red and White bus was bought from the estate of a school teacher here in northern California. I haven't been able to find any rust holes on the body even the battery tray looks nice which is amazing as we all know, there is some surface rust here and there but nothing appears to be super thin or rusted through. The bus was parked when the former owner passed away a few years ago. The family used it every once in a while shortly after her passing to run errands about town. We were able to get the bus running and driving with little effort, a new battery was installed, some new fuel line, fresh gas carbs cleaned and she fired right up and we were able to drive her around the block. The car hasn't been registered since 2006 so we weren't able to driver her on the interstate, however we do have a clear California title in hand. The bus does come with all three seats, however they do need to be recovered by the next owner. Please look at the pics, while the bus doesn't appear to have any rust, the old lady wasn't the best driver out there..looks like she backed into something on the driver side corner and there is some odd damage in the passanger side wheel well....The transporter does run, drives, stops...even the horn works, blinkers work, taillights work, headlights, wipers ect...just a good solid little bus that needs some seat covers, a little love and care and someone to make it their own. We are happy to work with international buyers! Please take a look at the attached pictures and ask any questions that you have BEFORE the end of the auction. We are always happy to supply you with any additional photos that you would like upon request. Please Note Due to the current EBay policy that does not allow sellers to leave negative feedback, we as sellers have no warning signs about potential nonpaying bidders. Ebay requires zero accountability or consequences to those who bid, yet do not follow thru with their contractual obligation to pay. This policy is causing unusual amounts of ‘’Unpaid” Items. Sellers have been suffering in the way of lost wages, Ebay listing fees, and most importantly… the loss of legal and binding transactions. *Affective Immediately for all Auctions* Within the last 24 hours of the auction end date or prior to that time frame, the top three bidders or any party who is planning on submitting a bid must make a verbal commitment to their dedication to pay within the terms specified. Regardless of your feed back or bid history if we do not hear from you we reserve the right to delete your bid and sell the vehicle to those who have met the terms of this agreement. This type of pre “auction end” contact will not only give us a chance to build a trusting relationship with you, but gives you the buyer, a more personal experience and better sense of our staff along with our mission to provide you with the highest standard of customer service that we give to each of our clients. We thank you for your understanding and we look forward to working with you and your passion for the vintage Volkswagen.
