VIN 0F05M150852 1970 Mustang Mach1 There are a lot more (77) pictures at this link: http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y349/tomandchelle/Toms%20car%20pics/ And this one as well there are 4 more pages here. http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y349/tomandchelle/#!cpZZ3QQtppZZ16 Bidders with feedback less than 5 positive feedback must contact me before bidding or I will cancel you bid. This is because of non payment from bidders with low feedback. This car has been apart since 1992. I reassembled the big pieces to make it easier to transport. This is a complete car minus the original carb, S-tube and heat shield for the air cleaner, and the honeycomb panel (but has the three chrome strips to mount it). There is now a Carter carb. This car has all the other parts in boxes well labeled and some have been restored and there are some new parts as well. The previous owner documented the teardown. It is all documented on several yellow legal pads. Which will be given to the new owner as well as all other documentation including a nice build sheet, a clear title, and photos of the car before the teardown. The car has all of the original tags including the buck tag, the coil tag, the rear end tag, trans tag, vin tag on the dash, and vin stamped on both sides of the engine compartment. The door sticker is missing because of door replacement. Interior: The interior is decent. Both front seats will need to be recovered. Back seat is in great shape. Door panels will need to be replaced, all trim is in good shape on the doors. The dash pad will need to be replaced. Rim blow and pad is decent. The console is perfect no cracked screw holes. Just the arm rest lid is worn. The fold down is complete and in great shape. Other than the large armrest panels they have cracks but are fiberglass so it is an easy repair. No speaker holes on any panels. The 8-track and speakers (grilles) are in great shape. Has correct D0ZZ part number. Mustang on the face. And all knobs and brackets are there. Exterior: This car has original BOSS 302 fenders with the rolled lips. They are worth their weight in gold to a BOSS 302 restorer. There are no rust holes in them, but there is some surface rust, dings, and holes for the Mach 1 panels drilled. The left one has had the rolled edge bent a little. The hood has been dented on the front peak, and has a large square hole cut in it under the scoop, but is rust free and the original hood. It has the locks and brackets and all scoop parts. The doors just have surface rust. Both rear quarters have severe rust from a layer of Bondo retaining moisture. The trunk lid is rust free but has some small dents. The taillight panel is rust free. The engine compartment will need shock towers replaced or repaired (comes with a perfect blasted and prepped set of original shock towers.). There holes cut with a torch to lube the A-arms. The aprons have rust on the tops both corners of shock towers. The front ones have some wrinkles from a previous accident (hence the Boss 302 fenders). The headlight buckets are perfect no cracked tabs. The wheels do not go with the car unless the car goes above $5000.00. They were for photographic purposes only. They are for one of my other cars. It will have a set of roller wheels for transport with tires that will hold air. Drive train: The engine is vin stamped to match the car. All engine components minus the water pump and carb are original and date and number correct. The engine was dissembled except for rotating assembly. Almost no ring ridge. It will not run it was just reassembled to ship. I have all numbers and dates. They correspond to the build date for the car. The trans is correct 1970 FMX. C9Z part number. 9 inch 3.25 open rear end with tag. The car has no brakes including the parking brake. It is disconnected but it does have the drive shaft installed so it will hold in park. Options: The color was dark Ivy Green Metallic (Code C) with Ginger interior (Code 3F). According to Marti by the numbers the car was one of 566 with this color combination. It has power steering and power disc brakes. Am 8-track, M code 351 Cleveland 4-V, competition suspension (it has the large front sway bar and rear sway bar). The original battery tray is the large version, which leads me to believe that it had the heavy duty battery option. And it has the fold down rear seat. As far as other options go I am not sure. I did not order a Marti Report. Rust: None of this rust is very serious. It is very small and easily patched. There should be a pic of everything noted here on photobucket. Please go to the link provided to view all of the pics. The left toe board under the brake pedal has rust coming through. Both left and right rear tourque boxes inside of the car has small rust spots. Right front tourque box frame rail has some rust starting. Right front outer rocker behind right front fender has some rust. All other frames and floors are in good shape! Please feel free to ask questions! This a link to more pictures! http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y349/tomandchelle/Toms%20car%20pics/ Please have a look. In PhotoBucket you are able to see a lot of detail. If you click on a pic it will enlarge the image. Once the larger image is being viewed you are able to zoom in even closer. The pics may answer a lot of questions you may have about the car. Thanks for looking and bidding! Payment is expected within three business days! Shipping will need to be arranged by the new owner.
