I am selling a used 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbo Diesel Car. It is black with burgundy seats. There are very few dents. The paint, or clearcoat is flaking a bit; primarily on the top due to the sun. The odometer is at 127,326 miles, however is has a gearing problem inside the head and doesn't count properly. The sunroof works as do the power windows. The radio and cassette deck were being replaced with a newer system, but installation was not completed; that system will come with the car. The driver's seat has a tear on the door side. The car starts right up and drives fine; however, the front & rear brakes will need to be replaced, and there may be a leak in the transmission that should be checked out. There is no Freon in the A/C. The Mercedes emblem on the front end of the car is intact. The speedometer works as do the windshield wipers (though the blades will need to be replaced), seat belts, blinkers, and lights. The tires are all good with no dry rot. I will ship the car anywhere in the contiguous United States. After these problems are fixed, this vintage Mercedes-Benz will be a great car again. With gas prices going up and Diesel engines being more energy efficient, this car will be a good car for the future. No returns will be accepted since it's being sold as-is.
