This 73 Cougar XR7 is a project car, but does run and drive. It will need some work to be a driver though. The brakes will need to be gone through they are spongy I have driven it around the block. the motor runs good no knocks or funny noises at all very quiet running, the trans works good never went fast enough for third gear though, the exhaust is good it has single exhaust, it is all stock under the hood. It has some rust in the trunk it is not very severe, some surface rust on the body.There are several pics of the inside bottoms of the quarters where these cars typically rust you will see there is just surface rust. There is some bondo where the vinyl roof holes used to be and some on the quarters but no rust through anywhere other than trunk, under the hood fender aprons are perfect.The floors are solid. I have removed most of the pinstriping and the words on the rear bumper. The interior is a little on the rough side driver seat is broken and leaning back (typical of these year cougars and mustangs) The seats all need some covers. The console is missing,I took it out for another project. no radio,It has the tachometer and gauge package, all gauges work properly, the tilt is still tight,Has stock style steering wheel now. the passenger front window does not work no switch (did pick up a used one though it will be included) The rear window will need a new seal the original window was broken out and I put one in but seal is bad, It will be taped up to hold in good during transport. door panels are wavy but decent.The dash pad is nice it has been recovered.The right front matching mag wheel has a slow leak so the spare is on the car now. Overall this car is an easy fix. Good luck and happy bidding! The rear is a 9 inch non posi 2.75 gear Yes it still has a door tag. (body 65F) (color 3K) (trim DB) (trans X) (axle 2) (DSO 52) The engine is a 351 cleveland 2 barrell The trans is an FMX automatic. I will post more pics of the trunk and engine.
