For Sale here is a 2003 Toyota Corolla LE, the car is Silver with Gray interior and has 169k miles. The 5-SPD transmission version of this car is very hard to find with the LE package and sunroof but this is it. This car runs like the day I bought it and was always well cared for. About the car: - It has new Michelin Hydro-Edge Tires installed over the winter (one of Michelin's highest rated 70,000+ mile tires) they run quiet on the highway and look brand new - I personally change the oil every 5,000 miles and run Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil in this engine since I bought it with ~55k miles; I also rotate the tires at each oil change, there is no sludge in this engine whatsoever, the tires run smooth and stay inflated - I have never been in an accident of any kind with this car; to my knowledge it has never been painted and has a clear Carfax report; I am the second owner of this vehicle; the title is clear, in my name and in my possession - I replaced the transmission in this car at 110K miles along with the clutch (I have a tip for you regarding winter driving with these cars as a result) the transmission and clutch were new Toyota Factory parts sent straight from Japan and installed professionally, I have driven the car 59,000 miles since then and the transmission is perfect, the clutch is like new because I drive on the highway 95% of the time - I clean this car regularly, wax it twice per year and I am meticulous about taking care of this vehicle - I drive on the highway over the posted speed limit and regularly get between 36 and 38MPG with this car. If you take it easy you can get the rated 40MPG (automatic transmissions from the same year are only rated to 38MPG highway) - I have Sirius Satellite radio installed in this car. The receiver is hidden in a cubby right near the stick shift making it easy to access. Satellite radio makes long drives shorter, you can continue to use it or not, your choice, if you choose not to use it the car radio will work like it always did - The AC works in this car, the brakes are good (and fairly new), I run a K&N high performance million mile air filter in this car that is good for another 40,000 miles before any need for service, you can use it or replace it with a Walmart equivalent, your choice. - This car has cruise control. It works great and is easy to use. - The car's spark plugs were replaced at 100k as recommended by Toyota. You can change them again at 200K (it takes 30 minutes, they are right on top) - This car has a cabin air filter; it helps if you have allergies and your car stays less dusty - This car is a low-to-no maintenance vehicle, it is good on gas, tires and oil are cheap, parts are comparably cheap, this is a perfect car for someone that wants a comfortable reliable ride and doesn't want to spend a lot - I am only selling this because my commute just got shorter and I ended up with a third car - This car comes with winter mats (shown in trunk) and the original dealer window sticker (not shown), the Toyota Owner's manual, a chilton repair manual and any oil filters / parts I have left - This car does have a few minor scratches as it used to be parked in the city on occasion; nothing major and no rust, the Silver metallic paint blends everything together - I have remotes and keys for you and unlike many new cars you can make a key for this car for about $2.50 instead of 100x that - This vehicle has never been smoked in and never so much as transported an animal Remember those runaway Toyotas of a few years back? This car has a cable driven gas pedal, you push the gas pedal and it goes, if you don't push it doesn't go! It is very mechanical, this is the way cars used to be built before someone decided to do this sort of thing with a computer. You will never have to worry about a run away car ever. The same can be said for the hydraulic steering, Corollas starting in 2004 have electric steering. If this car ever stalls you can still turn the wheel. The design of this vehicle is simple, safe and low maintenance not that it would never need anything but it doesn't need anything now accept to be driven. Please, no yard sale tactics with this. I bought this car, cared for it and I am not in a hurry to sell it as I still like to drive it very much. This car was always adult driven and never beaten, I clean this car with a toothbrush on occasion if that helps you picture what kind of car nut I am.
