This auction is for my 2005 Suzuki Burgman 400 that I have owned for about 2 1/2 years. This was a rebuilt machine when I purchased it, since it had been laid down on its side & expensive plastic panels deemed it a total loss. The company I purchased it from rebuilt the machine, repaired & replaced panels, etc, then took it to the Secretary of State's office to make it street legal again. But the title you get will show "rebuilt". There was no frame, engine or transmission damage. The scooter drives like a new one. The engine does not use oil and it rides very smooth on the highway. Top speed is about 80mph. I put new tires on front & back when I purchased it. There is nothing wrong with the mechenics of this machine. Also, a new battery was installed last fall. The scooter is not perfect, but it still looks great. There are a few scuffs on the bike, but its possible they could be rubbed out. Included is a 300 page service manual, CD,and Owners Manual. Altho I live in Springfield, Illinois, the scooter is at our second home on The Lake of The Ozarks in Missouri. Therefore, you will have to pick it up in Osage Beach Missouri. That is about 175 miles from St. Louis, 125 miles from Kansas City and about 35 miles from Jefferson City, Missouri. My wife was reading this over my shoulder as I was typing this and she commented that I made it look like this is a piece of junk.....I did not want to leave this impression...It is really a great machine, in great condition...but does have some minor cosmetic issues. I have the clear title in my possession. Since this is our 2nd. home, we are not there every weekend. We will be in Osage Beach during the Easter weekend, so you can pick it up on April 22,23,24. The next time available for pickup is on May 5,6,7,8. Thanks for your interest.
