NO RESERVE AUCTIONI AM SELLING MY 1963 CHEVY IMPALA TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. - I WILL NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY OR ARRANGE ANY DELIVERY. I PURCHASED THIS CAR ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND PAID $3500 FOR IT OFF OF EBAY AND IT DID NOT RUN AND HAD BEEN SITTING FOR 5+ YEARS. AFTER GETTING THE CAR HOME, I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL MECHANIC AND TOLD HIM TO "MAKE IT RUN AGAIN". I SPENT AROUND $1500 WITH HIM ON THINGS NEEDED UNDER THE HOOD INCLUDING NEW WIRING, NEW BATTERY, NEW HOSES, UPDATED ALTERNATOR, DISTRIBUTOR, PLUGS, FLUSHING OUT THE ENTIRE SYSTEM, OIL CHANGE, AND A LOT MORE THAT I DONT REMEMBER. AFTER DRIVING IT HOME FROM THE MECHANIC WHICH WAS ABOUT 10 MILES (HIGHWAY) I PARKED IT IN THE GARAGE WITH HOPES OF TURNING IT INTO A SHOW CAR. SINCE THEN, I HAVE ONLY DROVE THE CAR ABOUT 3 OR 4 TIMES ( MAYBE A TOTAL OF 20 MILES IN TO THE GAS STATION AND BACK). IT HAS BEEN SITTING UNDER MY CARPORT FOR THE LAST YEAR AND I HAVE DECIDED THAT IT IS TIME TO PART WAYS AND SELL IT. AS MUCH AS I WANT TO BUILD THE CAR, MY KIDS AND WORK HAVE TAKEN OVER AND ARE MORE IMPORTANT TO ME AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE. THE CAR IS A GREAT PROJECT FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO PUT SOME TIME IN TO RESTORING IT. ADDITIONAL INFO: I DONT HAVE KEYS (NEVER HAD ANY WHEN I BOUGHT IT). THE CAR STARTS AND RUNS WITH OUT IT. THE BACK PASSENGER TIRE HAS WENT FLAT AND IS OFF THE RIM. I PULLED IT OUT FROM UNDER THE CARPORT AND THE TIRE CAME OFF THE RIM BUT THE CAR CAN EASILY BE DROVE ON A TRAILER LIKE IT IS NO PROBLEM. THE INTERIOR AT SOME POINT WAS ALL CRUSH VELVET (IM GUESSING BACK IN THE EARLY 90'S). BOTH SEATS AND DOORS ARE STILL VELVET BUT OLD. THE FLOORS HAVE SOME RUST AND SOME HOLES. THE TRUNK HAS SOME RUST AND SOME HOLES. THE CAR HAD A 2 PUMP SET UP ON IT BACK IN THE EARLY 90'S WITH 3 BATTERIES. THERE ARE NO HYDRAULICS ON THE CAR AS OF NOW. THERE ARE NO SHOCKS ON THE FRONT OF THE CAR, JUST SPRINGS UP FRONT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN UNDER THE CAR OR EVER HAD IT ON A LIFT SO I CANT REALLY VOUCH FOR THAT PART OF THE CAR. THERE IS A BIT OF RUST ABOVE THE BACK WHEELS BUT NOTHING TO MAJOR. LIKE I SAID ITS A FAIRLY STRAIGHT CAR WITH A TON OF POTENTIAL.... I HAVE TRIED TO BE TOTALLY HONEST AND FAIR AND AM NOT LOOKING TO RIP ANYONE OFF. ITS NOT PERFECT BUT ITS A GREAT PROJECT. ALSO, NOT SURE EXACTLY ON WHAT THE REAL ODOMETER READING IS. THE CAR HAS A 283 IN IT. SOME OF THE LIGHTS WORK (FRONT AND REAR) AND SOME DONT. PROBABLY JUST BULBS. DEPOSIT OF $500 DUE BY PAYPAL WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION END. BALANCE DUE AT PICKUP IN CASH.
