Vehicle Detail

This Auction is for my 1969 Dodge Super Bee A12 Recreation. This is a 440 auto trans car This car started out as a base model Coronet and then was upgraded to the super bee package. unfortunetly the fender tag was lost The exterior color is Hemi orange with the signature black Bumble Bee stripes. The paint was done fairly recently but was loved and driven so it has a few chips that were touched up using original paint pretty good not concourse show quality but a really nice driver. and the black vinyl top was just installed a month ago and purchased from year one as were most of the restoration parts. It comes with two hoods, the six pack lift off fiberglass one and a steel six hood that mounts with hinges that yes also come with the car along with the latch. This is a non post car meaning no pillar in the rear quarter windows. The body is completely rust free not a spot anywhere not spec in the prestine trunk or the problem spot I keep hearing about in the rear window area., being as this is an original California car from the city of Merced. I have original warranty booklet to prove it. The bench seats "which came standard in an A12 car" have been redone with brand new Year One skins. This is a column shift Auto car just as original super bee's with autos had. The Engine has under 200 miles and is a Fully forged fully race ballanced newly machined and rebuilt six pack Block with Six Pack pistons rods and crank. The heads were sent off to a Mopar race shop in Georgia where they were Bowl blended, ported machined for high lift cam. Fully rebuilt with new beehive springs, new bronze guides stellite hardened seats, new larger 1.91 exhaust valves multi angle valve job and Flow Bench tested. They were flowing 290cfm at 500lift which is as good as a pair of stock Edelbrock aluminum heads. it also has ARP head bolts, It has a billet electronic ignition system with 10mm plug wires and bosch platnum plugs. The Cam is a lunati Bracket master II, It has Eagle billet powder coated fully adjustable 1.6 roller rockers and Smith brothers chrome molly race hardened push rods. It has a Melling high volume pump double roller timing chain and windage tray, with a 7 quart oil center sump pan. it has Long tube 31/2 inch headers which have copper race header gaskets with the special locking header bolts. and glass packs which are pretty loud. As for induction it has a Edelbrock Torker II aluminum high rise manifold that was port matched to the cylinder heads. It has a 870cfm Holly Street Avenger carb which has proven to be very reliable and easy carb. I pugged in the flowsheet numbers along with all the other particulars into comp cars virtual dyno and it says thereoretictly this engine puts out 540hp with 520lbs torque I think with a good race tune it would easily do that. It has fabricated aluminum valve covers a billet aluminum air cleaner, billet dip stick, chrome 130amp alternator, chrome fluid damper harmonic balancer. A three Row aluminum radiator and a trans cooler. This is a power steering car and it needs it lol. The transmission is a 727 torqueflight that has a stage two shift kit a SFI approved flexplate with ARP bolts and a ACC 3300 stall converter with a lokar kick down cable and a deep sump pan with a drain plug. it has a new drive shaft mated to a newly rebuilt 8 3/4 differential with a Sure Grip Posi and 3:55 gears. It has the big 11 inch Drums in back and disc brakes up front. The battery is rear mounted for better weight distribution One annoying thing is the gas gauge needs to be reconnected should just be a wire below the tank. All the engine machine work was done by reputable shops which I have all the numbers for upon request. This is your chance to own an A12 super bee without the 100,000 dollar price tag, it really turns heads everywhere it goes and draws crowds of people to it like moths to a porch light.
