1970 Volkswagen Convertible. Another Vintage Volkswagen brought to you by TheResurrectionProject.net The Resurrection Project is pleased to bring another Vintage Volkswagen to the market. This time we are helping a friend of TRP sale their 1970 Volkswagen Convertible. The Volkswagen convertible is one of the most iconic cars of all times. These little cars put a smile on the faces of all the come into contact with them from the gas station to the highway this car brings thumbs ups and waves at every turn. The car we are offering up for sale was purchased by a northern california mother for her son. He has daily driven the car for many years and has worked on it as often as he could with the money that was available to him. This little car sports a common paint color of the day in it's bright orange, while the paint was done many years ago it still holds a shine for daily urban use. The interior is in a black vinyl that with a car of this vintage shows its daily use and would provide you plenty of space to add your own personal touches. The convertible top is in very useable shape and should provide good coverage for it's next happy owner. The last owner did his best to keep the car up and running on his sparce budget and there are some of those "previous owner" repairs here and there. The body of the car does not appear to have any rust issues that I can find, it does have some bumps and bruises. The floor pans look like they were patched and repair in local high school shop fashion, while functional and safe they do leave something to be desired to the eye. The other element worth mentioning is that I would recommend installing a new set of tires sooner rather than later, as with any typical younger member of society these days it seems as though money was used when it was available and when it came to buying new tires it must have not been available any time recently. The car does run, drive and stop without problem and is currently registered and insured with a clear California Title. This is a perfect car for someone who would like a vehicle that the can drive while being able to upgrade it to their personal specifications. If your looking for a fun driver to put the top down and cruise the country side or your downtown enviorments this is a as intended "The Peoples Car" and will bring you many friends and conversations for years to come.
