Here is my 1964 chevy short bed fleet side pickup. It has a 327 from a 66 chevy with camel hump heads (fuelie), edelbrock 650 carb, msd pro billet distributor , msd 6al dual spark ignition box, and msd 8.5mm plug wires. The cap, rotor, plugs, and wires were all replaced about 6 months ago. Water pump was replaced about 2 years ago along with the belt, Its still running the old style alternator with external regulator that was replaced about six months ago. I recently installed some old chevy script 283 valve covers and new gaskets on it. The truck starts right up and runs good it has a manual choke carb that doesnt have a cable on it, it wasnt a priority since i live in AZ but depending on were you live you may want to install one. Headman headers and true dual exhaust running into flowmasters. The trans is a turbo 350 that shifts nicely. Body is very straight with hot rod flatz satin black and ppg pagan gold on top with a flat clear. This truck is a rust free cab it had the usual rust on the front fender dog leg area and patch panels were installed. Rockers and all the cab is rust free with no previous repairs i have seen. Original tailgate that is in good shape, all the chains were removed and has latches that were old gm seatbelts and cables from a new chevy truck. It works great with no more chains to scratch stuff up and it closes very tight so no rattling.The custom sail pieces on the cab are in great shape and this truck still has the holes down the sides for the chrome trim. I never got around to purchasing the trim but it runs about $300. Rear bumper and brackets are brand new while the front bumper and grill are still original and could be replaced or polished up. The bed wood is all new with oak boards with tons of coats of satin finish on them and new black bed strips and hardware. I have not hauled anything since i put the bed wood kit in so its very very nice. All glass is in good shape and windows go up and down freely.The truck has a 5 lug disc brake conversion on it with all new cpp suspension and shocks, the front is lowered 3 inches i also replaced the pads and brake hoses when i installed the new coils and shocks. The rearend is out of a 89 chevy so it is 5 lug with drum brakes, it also has new shocks and 4 inch drop coils and all the stock trailing arm stuff on it. I also installed a cpp mini notch so you can still use this truck to haul in. This truck rides great, i have had alot of old chevys most with lowered suspension and this kit is perfect it rides like a new truck. Wheels are old school supremes with skinny white goodyear tires. Tires have alot of life left a few have a few worn edges from when the stock suspension was on it but nothing to worry about now that the suspension has been changed and alignment is fixed. There are a few things that the truck doesnt have and im a very honest seller so dont be afraid to ask ?s The truck still needs the side trim that i mentioned earlier($300), carb chock knob($10.), the truck has no seat belts ($15 ea), it needs a new turn signal cam piece and lever or a aftermarket turn signal switch installed ($ 30) missing glove box liner ($15) it has no hoses for the defroster and needs new knobs and cables for it ($50). It also has the disc setup on the front but is still running the stock master cylinder on it so you may want to replace with a dual setup or even a booster if you like. It was like this when i purchased it and planned on replacing it but never got to it. The wheels take a shank style lug nut and this rearend is a 14 mm so it has regular lugs on rear you may want to find some of these nuts or a wheel adapter to run the shank nuts. I do have the supreme center cabs and windshield wipers for the truck. The interior was redone right after i bought the truck 3 years ago it has black carpet with the stock seat redone in a white vinyl rolls and pleats along with recoverd visors. Stock steering wheel has a few cracks and some pitting on horn ring but decent for its age. It has the stock gauges still speedo is way off and gas gauge only works sometimes, it has a small gauge panel for the rest of the stuff and they all work. Am fm cd played with i pod jack, 2 6x9s under the seat and to 5 1/2 in the doors. It has a b&m shifter with a modified handle and custom tiki shift knob. This is a great truck i have been using it as a daily driver for the 3 years i have owned it it is driven 40 miles a day. The drivetrain does have a few leaks it could use a new pan gasket on the motor and trans. Im unsure of the miles on this truck it is a box c title which means unknown due to the fact these only went to 100k and flipped over. It is a clear arizona title in my name. These trucks are getting more and more popular and alot of the hard work is done,Im only selling due to financial issues.
