Very clean and original 1961 Ford Falcon, 4door, 170ci 6cyl with automatic transmission. The car has been well cared for and can be driven daily. Interior - The interior is original and in good condition. The front seat was covered when I bought it and I am not sure of the condition underneath as I have never removed it. The rear seat is original and in good shape. The door panels are all there and are original also. The headliner is good also. The sun visors are there but need to be recovered. Under the hood - The 170 straight-six starts every time and it is a strong runner! Great gas mileage with the 1 barrel carburetor. Many parts have been replaced such as; starter, generator, radiator, belt, fan, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, hoses, voltage regulator and horn relay. The heater blower motor has also been replaced along with the heater hoses. The exhaust pipe and muffler have also been replaced. Transmission - The transmission is automatic does not appear to have an issues. Shifts and drives fine. Brakes - I have not had the brakes inspected but they work fine. Exterior - This Falcon is in great original condition and the paint is faded. The front fenders are fine and the rocker panels are good. The chrome and trim is all there and in good shape. The trunk and rear floor are solid. There are few minor rust spots on the right quarter panel. There is some rust on the front floor but it is not structural and can be easily patched. Trunk - I added a trunk interior photo. Road Worthiness - I have driven the car on the street and highway with no issues. It last had a safety inspection in Sep 2009. Safety sticker photo added. I am not saying the car can go cross-country! However I have had no reservations about driving it. Last trip was about 100 miles on the highway.
