For sale is a neat Low-Budget 1981 Honda CB750 "Custom" that's 100% original, no modifications of any kind have been made on this bike. The seat is in great condition and the tank is clean inside & shows no rust. The odometer, speedometer and all the lights, turn signals etc work just fine. I know that some of these vintage bikes have problems with the brakes needing rebuilding but these brakes seem to be just fine. The bike will need some "sit on the ground" detailing to bring the chrome, aluminum & paint to the next level. It needs just a little effort to bring it up to being road worthy. The bike will start & ride down the road but the bike bucks & kicks some----the carburetors probably should be cleaned. The tires are dry rotted and need replacing----so two new tires are included (you'll need to mount & install on the bike). The exhaust is still functional but has some rust & small holes----leave it this way or up grade to a new after market exhaust (around $275.00). It'll never be perfect but it could be a nice, way-better-than average CB750. This will make somebody a nice low-budget bike! The bike is showing only 10,473 miles! The man I bought it from told me the miles were indeed accurate but when he went to register it, he said he couldn't remember the bike's exact miles, so he guessed 12,000 miles. So now the title shows 12,000 miles, the bike shows 10,473. I guess this would be a big issue if the bike were a 2006 or a 2008 but......it's 29 years old, so -it is what it is- I can't change it.
