The Engine is a 1969 440 Big Block HP Coded 440 Crank (resurfaced & balanced) Mopar Perf. Pistons 9.5:1 Matched Rods (balanced) Closed Chambered Heads 727 Torque Flight Transmission CRT Pan W/Plug CRT Filter Extension (billett) 8 3/4 Sure Grip Rear End True Dual Exhaust (all welded) Flowmasters New Engine Mounts New Torque Strap New Trans Mount New Fluids (all) New Filters (all) New Spark Plugs This is a very solid car with only one repaint. The car starts easy and runs very strong...this baby shakes the ground! The transmission shifts smooth and strong thru all the gears. The Sure Grip is strong and solid. The brakes work great...discs up front and drums in back. This car was raced last in 2005 at the Mopar Nationals. It had Skinnys up front and slicks out back, The rubber from the slicks is still in the rear wheel wells!!! Since then the transmission, engine and rear end were all rebuilt and have approx. 200 to 300 street and cruise nite miles on them. This car is wicked fast even with street tires on it. With the torque strap on the response is instant... it will transfer some vibration when not under acceleration and the strap on. For a smoother ride you can take off the torque strap and run it on the rubber engine mounts alone. But keep a light foot without the torque strap on or you'll be going thru engine mounts... The car is a torque monster... I never had it on the Dyno but I would guess its 425-450 horse power. Solid engine mounts, torque strap connected and slicks and you'd be ready for the track if you wanted. The interior is very nice. Seats, center console, door panels, gauges etc. are outstanding to near perfect... I don't like to use the word perfect to describe anything....however, I feel these are as close as you will find! It could use some new carpet...the original carpet still looks great for almost 40 years old and has no rips or tears but does have some stains. Some new carpet, polish the scuff plates and add a new headliner (also orig.) wouldn't hurt. Headliner has one small hole (neaar pass.side window) and a few wrinkles but other than that its still presentable. Orig A/C car but not hooked up, The trunk and floors are all VERY solid and original, previous owner spatter painted the trunk and I was going to paint it blue like the rest of the car but never got around to it. The rear speakers need new wire run from the stereo back to the speakers... I bought the wire and was going to do it when I put new carpet in it but never got a chance too. The new speaker wire is included. It also needs the speedometer and tach looked at, neither are currently working, but everything is there. Also the clock will work for a little while if you adjust the time and then it stops. I also put a new wiper motor in and the harness needs to be hooked back up. The car just needs a little time spent with her to bring it up its full potential. I personally know the last two owners of this car as well. I have a clean, lien free title in hand ready to go. The car still has its original keys.... shoot' even the gas cap is original. This Challenger comes with a cover and extra parts I've collected over the years. These E body cars are getting hard to find... and one this solid ... nearly impossible. Buy this car for less that a new base model Challenger and see which is worth more in 5, 10 or even 20 years from now. This is better than money in the bank. I love this car and wish I could keep it but I need to finish some other projects so I must part with her. I will gladly answer any questions you may have. Please... Serious Bidders Only ! Have all funds in order prior to bidding. I reserve the rite to end this auction early in the event I decide to try to sell it locally. Car is sold as is where is with no warranty. Happy Bidding!
