Vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder or buy it now for $9500.00 This is a 2006 FORD EXPLORER (4x4) Police Edition - Very unique vehicle comes with two working spot lights and a state police brush guard. One light is disconnected to keep the vehicle legal in IL but you can easily re connect. They are very bright. Another nice thing is that when you drive this truck everyone will get out of your way because they think you are the police. So you can get where you are going much quicker and people alway let you in when you are pulling out because they don't want you behind them. So if you are the winning bidder expect to you have some fun. If you are not interested in the after market equipment you can take it off and sell here on eBay I am sure a lot of people will want the items and it will lower your purchase cost. I drive this truck daily. It has 74k original miles. No damage history. The body is in good condition no rust. It has been well maintained and was used as a security vehicle at a local Zoo. Mainly kept on the zoo property and used for running around. And NO it was not used to haul dead animals or live ones for that matter. Most likely it was used by a couple of security guards or Zoo staff to patrol the zoo at night to make sure some idiot didn't jump the fence into the tiger cage and get him self killed. The only thing that the vehicle needs is : It has a small dent on the passenger side door. You should be able to take the door panel off and have it pushed out. It needs the plastic trim piece that goes in between the two driver seats. They had a radio mounted to it and it was cracked I found a used one at my local junk yard for $50.00 but it was the wrong color. Should be easy to replace I can help you locate if needed. The vehicle needs an oil change I didn't do it because I though you might want to use a special brand of oil. It has a few minor scratches here and there that you should be able to see in the pictures. It has a few small rips in the seats and two small holes on the backs of the seats I think they had something mounted. You should be able to put seat covers on to cover up or have repaired easily. I might also do a tune up because I think its that time. Other than these minor things I think you will be very happy with your purchase.
