Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1968 Chevrolet C-10 stepside truck. This is one of the great classic trucks, that in this case, is ready to be driven or fully restored. It has not been on a rotisserie or undergone a "nut and bolt" restoration so there is room for someone to get their hands dirty if they want a pure show truck. The truck would remain in my garage if not for a new project in the waiting. The truck runs great! It has a 355 with aftermarket intake, headers, Lunati cam, HEI distributor, and an Edelbrock performer carb. It doesn't burn oil, doesn't drip anything on the concrete, nor does it run hot. It's in great mechanical shape. Behind that is a camaro Saginaw four speed with a Hurst shifter and linkage. Like I said before, the truck is a great performer, sounds awesome, and is a lot of fun to drive. It has six lug aluminum American Racing wheels, 245-60-15 up front and 275-60-15 in the rear, tires are new. The color is hugger orange with matching paint on the dash. The antenna has been "frenched" into the cab side for a smoother look. The tail lights have been integrated into the roll pan and look great. A lot has been upgraded on this truck, some you can see, some you can't: New dual exhaust system with Corvette style tips New tailgate with hidden latches New roll pan New complete wiring harness (American Autowire) White gauges added to a fully gauged cluster including tach New windshield Front grill updates; chrome trim, clear turn and parking lights Early Classic 5" rear drop springs pan hard rod rear shocks New rear poly suspension bushings New 3:08 posi differential - carrier, ring and pinion New wheel bearings New Hurst linkage New gas tank (and interior sealant) New side markers New carpeting New window crank mechanisms- rubber and channels and handles New heater controls and cables Fuel pressure regulator New motor mounts New Raptor wood steering wheel New water pump and fan clutch New battery I'm sure there are other things that I've forgotten, but I would be happy to talk about the truck, any of the work we have done, or answer any questions you may have. Feel free to give me a call at 785-242-3830. Thanks for bidding
