Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 2002 SV650. I recently upgraded to a newer SV and can't afford to keep both. Bike is in excellent mechanical condition. Used as a daily commuter for the last 1-2 years. Still starts easily and idles well. Pros:Upgraded suspension - Racetech springs .85kg/mm, heavier oil wt. Preload adjustment caps. (Immense improvement over stock)New tires - Michelin Pilot Road 2 have less than 1000 miles on them.Brake pads - Plenty of life leftHandlebar - Wider Superbike handlebar gives you more leverage for low speed maneuverabilityCompetition Works Foot pegsMirrors with integrated turn signals (can also include original mirrors on request)Vortex frame slidersVortex sprockets +1 tooth in the rear (If I recall correctly)Chain and sprockets have been well maintained and show no signs of wearGas tank has been lined to remove any possibility of internal rusting if left for periods of time.F-18 flyscreenBattery Tender hookupBattery is less than 1 year oldRegulator Rectifier replaced for a more capable MOSFET version from a gsxr.Comes with a tank bra if desired (not pictured so you can see condition of tank, not hiding anything) Cons: Not in perfect aesthetic shape:Seat has been duct taped due to sun damage and cracking, still works fine and is comfortable.Rear seat is showing signs of similar damage.Left rear plastics have rub marks near the grab bar. It is not gouged but seems to have been worn down by something.Scratches on the front fender.Gauges are cracked behind windshield but the windshield protects them well.Tank has some scratches and nicks apart from the dent on the left of the tank just below the SUZUKI letters. Dent was placed there by previous owner and I didn't have the expertise to do a proper repair. If you have ANY questions please do not hesitate to ask, I will answer to the best of my ability.
