This is a 1987 Mercedes Benz 300D with no reserve. Many people are converting these long lasting vehicles to run on biofuel or used cooking oils. It is powered by a 3.0L six cylinder turbo charged diesel engine. The engine purrs down the highway without a miss or oil drip. The four speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly without slippage or hesitation. There is, however, an occasional hard downshift between second and first gear. The exterior is brown. There are no major dents. There is a ding under the driver side tail light and some body rust around the jack points (see pic). The paint is original and has sun cracks on the roof, trunk and hood (see pic). The lights are bright and clear. The glass is chip and crack free. The tires have cracks and should be replaced some time soon. The brakes and steering seem good. The spare is missing. The interior is tan. The seats are in good condition. The carpet is in good condition, no rips or holes, but could used a cleaning. The dash is in good condition. All the power options such as the sunroof, locks, seats, windows, etc. work as designed but the rear driver side window only works with the door switch. There is a Pioneer CD player. This vehicle is offered for sale by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. We require, on all internet sales, a $200 document fee which covers document, clerical, airport transportation and all other auction related expenses.
