1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab Up for sale is a green '99 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the larger 5.3L engine in excellent mechanical condition. My father-in-law purchased this truck for my wife and I in the fall of 2006 from a family friend with approximately 90,000 miles at the time of purchase. We have kept it regularly maintained in this time period with no major surprises or mechanical problems. New front tires were purchased in 2009. New front calipers and rotors were installed last June, and all brakes are in great working order and are wearing evenly as of last June. Passenger side window assembly was replaced in March of 2009. It also has a full bed liner with no rust inside the bed. This truck has never seen snow outside of Georgia or Alabama, and has thus not been subject to salty winter roads. It also easily passed an emissions inspection last July. Contrary to description details, this truck does not come with power seats. Some key features include: Power windows and locks Automatic lights CD player Cruise control Bodygard bed liner Working Message Center Being a 12 year-old truck, there are things that aren't perfect. Most of these are cosmetic, including: Passenger side lock sometimes sticks and must be manually unlocked Key does not open passenger side door Power mirrors no longer operational Paint starting to peel at tops of passenger doors (see photos) Several dents and scrapes, mostly in the rear quarter (see photos) Missing rear passenger hubcap This has been a great and dependable truck for us, and will make for a great workhorse.
