Now here is a beautiful Oldsmobile that you just don’t see anymore! This is a 1963 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 2-door Holiday Hardtop. This was the entry level for the full size Oldsmobiles. Yes, it is the PLAIN JANE, but that’s what makes it so RARE, and DESIRABLE! It comes with the standard 394 cubic inch V8 pushing out 280 horse power. Sitting on top, is the factory two-barrel Rochester carburetor, with a whopping 10.25 to 1 compression ratio, with 430 pound feet of torque! This was a great looking automobile for the 1963 model year line up, and a very well constructed automobile. Oldsmobile was very a head of there time back then, it’s just too bad that General Motors had to end the name a few years back… This Oldsmobile runs and drives great! It has been sitting in my climate controlled garage now for the last six years, and I really don’t drive it anymore. So now I think it’s time to give it a new loving home. The floorboards, trunk, and frame are PERFECT, with NO RUST at all. It does need a new exhaust system, but I just don’t have the time to do it. I put a BRAND NEW battery in it this morning, and it fired right up! And may I add, purred like a kitten! The brakes feel a little hard. It might need a vacuum booster, or maybe the brakes are just sticking from sitting in the garage.
