This auction is for a 1950 F1 Ford pickup. It has a fairly straight body with a small amount of rust in the right rear fender and also a minor spot in the left rear fender. The floor board is solid but does have a few pin holes. The bed floor is not original but it is wood with a coat of bed liner on it. It looks very good. The truck has a new windshield and seal and has good side glasses. The right wing glass is cracked and the back glass has a crack. This truck has a 305 Chevy V-8 with early G.M. double hump heads and a Q-Jet carb. The motor and engine compartment are nothing special but it does run good. It has a G.M. 3-speed trans. that is hooked up to the original column. The rear-end is original and the front-end is original. It has good brakes and drives fairly well at about 45 MPH. The original gages work and it has an after market oil pressure gage. The heater works well. The truck does need the king pins replaced because they are a little loose. It also needs a new set of motor mounts because whoever installed them did not do a very good job but they do work. This truck is a good solid project but does need some work. The body is currently black primer.
