Vehicle Detail

I have owned this Cougar for 17 years. It is a number matching Boss 302 to a re-bodied 1970 Cougar Eliminator. Original 4 speed and 3.50 Nodular 9". The interior is in near perfect condition, with the exception of where there where speaker mounted in the doors, and the rear interior panels. Headliner is original, and 4.5 out of 5 condition. Engine was rebuilt with TRW forged 30 over pistons, it has less that 3000 miles since rebuild. Starts and drives perfect. It has a Holley 650 Double Pumper. Body panels are very straight, only issue is the drivers door is pretty firm to close. I have tried to align it, but I cannot seem to get it right. The paint is in very good condition, considering it is 13 years old. There are some minor dings, and scratches. The car was in storage while I was overseas with the military, during that time, something was dropped on the roof, and caused a sizable dent in the front portion of the roof, about 4" from the the front center of the windscreen. All the gauges work, with the exception of the battery charge indicator. Stock seats were stolen, so I installed some aftermarket seats, along with a Grant steering wheel. All the body panels are very solid, no rust issues in any of the wheel wells, rear 1/4s, roof, or trunk. The drivers side floor board, along with the rear portion of the hump have had patch panels welded in. Glass is a 4.5. Window regulators are smooth, and roll freely. Clutch is new. Brakes are new. Rear wheel bearing was replaced less than 25 miles ago. New carpet. Heat works. Idles at 800 rpms. Torque plates were installed. Passenger side of the engine bay has a hole, where EFI system was going to be installed, of better MPG...Long story, never was able to complete. This was going to be built for the street, but I have lost interest. I have video of the car running and more pictures at request.
