Vehicle Detail
1985 Toyota 4wd Xtra Cab Deluxe. 22RE, Automatic Trans 157,500 original miles and in excellent condition. Includes original window sticker where the vehicle was sold from Hemet Toyota in Hemet California. Also, original owners manual and other misc. paperwork (tech manual, receipts, etc) I have accumulated. I am the 3nd owner. Previous owner was a father and daughter that kept the truck on a farm where it was well maintained and always garaged. The paint is 100% original and there’s no rust at all. It’s very rare to find a red Toyota from the 80s without oxidation and with zero rust. The only evidence of any wear is where the rubber bed mat rested on the inside of the box creating 2 or 3 areas of wear. VIN #: JT4RN66P3F5086514 2.4 Liter SOHC EFI engine (22RE) Electronic control 4-spd Automatic Transmission Free wheel/Locking front hubs Straight axle frontend Factory options: • Sliding rear and vent windows • Power steering • Tilt steering wheel • Intermittent wipers • Tinted glass • Deluxe mirrors (chrome) • Air conditioning Manufactured suggested retail price: $12,173.00 Also literature on the AM/FM cassette radio New radiator and tune-up/battery at 145,952 miles Front KYB shocks at 147,516 miles O-2 Sensor at 147,516 miles Exhaust/tailpipe at 150,108 miles Engine oil was last done at 156,061 miles with genuine OEM oil filter. Within past 200 miles: NGK plugs and plug wires Toyota air filter New Alternator Jan 2010 Front axle rebuild with Marlin Crawler HD inner axle seals (all new seals, bearings, knuckle rebuild) Bilstein rear shocks Toyota fuel filter (I relocated fuel filter to make it more accessible when replacing) Complete coolant flush with Toyota red coolant Lower radiator hose Transmission hoses PCV valve Cap/rotor/etc. Transmission service with new AT filter/gasket/Mobil 1 synthetic fluid Front differential serviced with Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil Rear brakes just inspected and in excellent condition (one week ago inspection) New battery terminal wires Belts New front brakes (calipers/highest quality pads) Complete brake fluid flush with Toyota brake fluid Brand new BF Goodrich KM2 Mud Terrains (31X10.50X15) mounted on medium offset steel wheels. I used a ¼” spacer on the front wheels to clear the calipers. I wanted wheels that wouldn’t change the stance of the truck. Most wheels have a RWD offset that would put the tire slightly outside the wheel well. These fit perfect and I like the look of the wheels as they match the black trim on the truck. The wheels are new. Valve cover gasket Timing chain has been completed by previous owner. Smittybilt rear tube bumper with 2” receiver The only upgrades to the interior would be an OEM SR5 steering wheel. Feels much better than stock steering wheel and is identical to SR5 wheel offered in 1985. The steering wheel had a cover on it since new, so it's firm and feels like a new one. I, too, have garage kept the truck since owning it. I hate to part with it, but I rarely drive the truck and that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense considering my commute to work is minimal and we have 5 cars for two drivers. It does have some scratches and dings, but I don’t think any are major. The most severe would be an indentation in the tailgate, but I didn’t want to mess with it since it is original. I am confident you would be impressed by the truck. A/C isn’t currently blowing cold (at least from what I can tell). We don't have much warm weather here, so I rarely use A/C. http://s628.photobucket.com/albums/uu6/carsin831/1985/ On Mar-24-11 at 16:32:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Truck is registered in California, and I will get the truck smogged if the winning bidder is from California. On Mar-29-11 at 14:11:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Actual mileage is 156,680, so lower than I had listed on the auction. Good luck!
