This is a rare 1989 Chrysler LeBaron convertible. Most LeBaron models are not turbo-charged. The engine and transmission run out 100%. The vehicle is powered by a 2.5L turbo charged four cylinder engine that runs fine with no smoke, miss or over heat. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without slippage or hesitation. The brakes and steering seem good however we have noticed a small power steering leak. No cracks or chips on the windshield. All the light work. The exterior is white and seems to have been repainted at some point. There are no major dents or dings. There is some chipping under the passenger side window (see pic). It has a ground effect kit. The tires are probably 80% worn (see pic). The top is not new but is in good condition since it does not leak and has no stitching problems. There is a white patch over the driver head (see pic). The top goes down automatically but has to go up manually (switch problem?). There are holes on the trunk where it looks like a previous owner had a spoiler (see pic). The interior is blue. The carpet, which could use a good cleaning, is blue with no rips or holes. The seats are blue vinyl and are in good condition (see pic). The power windows and cruise control work. There is an after market AM/FM CD. The heat is hot but the AC needs a charge. The odometer shows 84125 but it is not moving. This vehicle would be a fun, inexpensive summer car to drive but if you are looking for a perfect cream puff, keep looking. It is being offered for sale by a Maryland Used Car Dealer.
