Up for auction is this clean 1966 CL72 Honda scrambler.Ser.# cl721103710 and engine# cl72e-1103706.The engine is a good runner with period upgrades.The engine was set with 305 cc.pistons and jugs,full race cam,valve springs,450 carbs with fact. adaptors.These were factory parts offered then to soup-up these motors.All the stock engine parts will be sold with the bike.You'll also notice the wheels,hubs and front suspension are off a later model CL77.I did this about twenty years ago.Makes a smoother ride.Also,all the stock wheels,forks, front fender,bracket and everything to put it back to original.See pictures of parts going with the bike.The stock wheels have some pitting and oxidized.The front fender and bracket are scrapped up alittle but whole.The bike as she sits is a clean, great running piece of history and has been babied and not run hard at all.It has a new front tire.Rear tire is weather checked and should be replaced soon.The frame and chrome have only been cleaned and polished.original.Tank,fenders,and side panels were painted years ago.It's a 91-93 ford t-bird candy apple red.The wheels do have some pitting in the valleys.but not bad.Tank badges are 300 stock pieces.Also have a repair manual and chrome seat trim band. This bike is not perfect but is a great looking and fun riding bike.Look at pictures!
