1968 Shelby GT 350. This is an authentic Shelby with 57,000 original, well documented miles. It is in the original color of Candy Apple Red with white stripes. It has been repainted once. The paint is very rich and deep. The black interior is original and in excellent condition. Only the carpet has been replaced. All the hard to find pieces are in place, original and in excellent condition. This is a 4-speed car with optional tilt wheel. It has the original AM radio that works well. It has air conditioning that was dealer installed in the 1980's. It is vintage style, and appears original. Candy Apple Red 4-speed Shelbys with A/C are rare. This Shelby also has 10 spoke wheels. The trunk has been detailed. This Shelby has the original engine and drive train, all rebuilt. This is a numbers matching Shelby that shows extremely well. This Shelby is richly documented. It has the original build sheet (quite rare), Shelby widow sticker, Marti report. In addition, there are titles, and registrations dating back to the 1970's. This nicely documents the mileage as original. Of course, it is in the Registry. I have maintained this Shelby as needed by the best Shelby mechanic in the St. Petersburg area. He has 3 Shelby's himself. The autobody technician who resored my other 2, cleaned the undercarriage. I am offering this Shelby at $79,900. The August 2010 issue of Hemming's had a feature article on the 1968 Shelby. I priced mine between the value of one in average and outstanding condition. NADA has similar values. If you recall, the Barrett-Jackson aution found a 1968 GT 350 selling for 143,000 including buyers fee. While this Shelby is not at concours level, it gives some idea where these cars are going. This is a very nice Shelby that is a joy to drive and shows extremely well. It won best Shelby at show at the 2007 Mustand-Ford show in Ocala, Fl. You will be proud to own and show this Shelby.
