This is a great opportunity to buy a real 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS, Low documented miles (54K) Documented original SS package (with build sheet) Professional frame off restoration completed in 2009, motor and trans professionally rebuilt, mild cam, nitrated crank, electronic ignition, new everything-water pump, power steer, master cylinder, brake booster, steering box, tilt column, 4 core aluminum radiator, battery, block hugger headers, edelbrock intake and carb, 3inch flowmasters. Exhaust tips and wheel well trim are right out of the box from 1970 old dealer stock, all suspension, brakes, bushings, shocks, springs, fuel tank, etc are new and painted or powder coated. Factory AC is disconnected. Car was originally turquoise, old paint was professionally removed, Sheet metal was amazing, factory welds along rockers and door jams is plain as day (no filler) prime and paint was effortless, PPG color (Gun metal) incredible wet sand, polish and clear. Original SS hood, non flapper cowl, delete option on hood pins and sport stripes (see build sheet) T3 headlamps, Front and rear bumper never dipped just original and perfect. Glass and trim is all original and good, front window has the cool micro antenna option but the glass itself shows wear (small stone chips) I kept it for the antenna, otherwise it is the only scratches on the car. Interior seat covers replaced by PUI pearl parchment, door panels are original but very nice(just dont have that pearl sheen) carpet and headliner are new. Very rare bench seat and gear selector on column (see build sheet) Car has 15x8 Corvette wheels(coded) with brand new BFG TAs. Original radio in dash(rare) Alpine tastefully installed under dash. Car was delivered to Albert Pristage of Brundidge, Alabama on Dec. 23rd 1969. From Ray Hughes Chevrolet in Enterprise, Alabama. The car was a surprise Christmas gift from his wife and she spent months asking him what his special order car would be if he could just pick options. You gotta admit its a great story and it has the added advantage of being true. Ultimatly Mr Pristage should be flown in to town to be reunited with the car where we can video tape the reunion and make it part of the cars documentation. He has also informed me that he may have a few snap shots with the car it the back. This car is nice, 400 miles or so since restore. Local cruise, car-show or parade, never been wet. Runs and drives perfect Undercarriage looks as good as topside, engine compartment too.
