Vehicle Detail
No Reserve! Up for auction is my 1987 Ford F150 Custom 4X4 pickup truck. It started its life with a 5.0 302 motor but I replaced that with a very reliable 1988 Ford F150 5.8 351 EFI motor. 1988 was the first year with 5.8 EFI on Ford trucks. This truck is a true workhorse, engine runs very good, transmission (automatic C6) shifts as it should and the 4X4 works well. Manual locking hubs, quad shock front suspension (2 shock absorbers on each front wheel) rear anti-sway bar, A/C (needs recharge R12), Pioneer AM/FM CD player with a mini sub woofer box behind the seat, behind the seat tool pouch, extang tuff tonnou, bed liner, dual fuel tanks. The horn never worked when I first got this truck so a ran the horn wires to a push button switch on the dash under the steering column. THE GOOD: The drivetrain is strong, 4X4 works great! Recent (meaning within the last 3 years) front and rear brakes including rotors, rear drums, shoes and hardware, radiator and radiator support (original rusted out). New Autozone Battery (about 1 1/2 years old). Oil changes done every 3000 miles. "Pop & Lock" tailgate lock to prevent theft. I put a brand new spare tire about 4 years ago. Haven't used it yet! Still has the little nubs. THE BAD: Being from the northeast, it has some rust/rot throughout the truck. I had brushed some POR-15 on most of the areas as you can see in the pictures. Alot is just surface rust, the rot is on the rockers and over the rear wheel lips (typical Ford). Rear fuel tank needs a fuel pump, I have a used one that a buddy gave me, I just never tested it, it will be included. 1 of the rear anti-sway links broke, I have new ones that will be included in the auction. Passenger's side taillamp broken. I've had this truck for the last 7 years and it has truly NEVER let me down. I had changed the dash cluster 3 or 4 years ago in favor for the tachometer style. I stated the mileage to be around 200,000 but it should be a little less on the body, the engine I believe should have about 120 or 140,000 although I have no way of verifying. Although I tried my best to state everything about this truck, I'm sure I may have missed a few things, so please, ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS. Call/Text me on my cell: 646-523-7446 with questions anytime before 8PM. There is no reserve on this auction, but, if the bids reach $1000.00 or above, I will include ALL the extra parts I have for this truck! Driver's and Passenger's power doors off a 1992-1994 Ford Bronco. They are mostly complete including glass & regulators. 1 is missing a handle and latch and maybe more. I bought them as shells NOT A SPOT OF RUST TO BE FOUND. Driver's patch panel over wheel on bed Extra front manual 4x4 hubs Good working 1356 4X4 Transfer Case Reese chassis mount tow hitch (truck has a bumper mount tow ball and 3 pin trailer plug) 2 non tach dash clusters (one is original to this truck, don't remember which one) Fan shroud, wire harnesses, misc 5.0 engine parts (balancer, pulleys, clutch fan, etc.)hood hinges Whatever else I find in my garage that belongs to this truck will be included IF the bids reach $1000.00 or above. Please ask all questions before placing bids. If interested you are more than welcomed to come look at the truck (encouraged) but you must do so before auctions end! I have the right to end the auction early as this vehicle is listed locally. Vehicle is being sold AS IS WHERE IS with no warranties/garantees whatsoever! Truck is located in Flushing, New York 11358 A $200.00 Deposit is required within 48 hours of auctions end and balance due within 7 days cash in person. Thanks and good luck!
