1989 SAAB 900 Turbo White/Tan ALL ORIGINAL California car which starts first time every time, clutch on the 5-speed is strong and sits up high, transmission shifts through all gears like new, turbo spools properly, front end suspension is tight, no leaks in engine compartment; lights all work; charging system is good; hood opens and closes properly; uses no oil. Central locking yes, but no power seats, but cup-holders, yes! This SAAB has a late '89 build-date of 5/89, all VIN stickers are in place, all original paint with excellent clearcoat, all exterior trim is in place, even fog lights with covers, matching set of proper tires at 60%, spare has never been on the ground, spent one year in Hinsdale IL; no dents or dings, NO RUST!!! I am selling only because I need money for graduate school. Inside, all original leather with no rips or tears, except 2" of stitching that can be rethreaded; carpets are fresh, no tears; dash and instrument panel are in excellent condition; glass is all good; all instruments work properly including cruise, except odometer. So this SAAB, which drives and tracks like a properly serviced 50K car, had a broken odometer when I bought it. Seller claimed it was at an actual 120K when I bought it.. I have only driven it about 5K. Story goes that some body fiddled with it trying to fix it and broke it even more. That is all I know. So disregard the odometer reading. This SAAB is therefore being sold TMU...true miles unknown. Also the radio/ Clarion trunk mounted CD does not come on. I haven't had it checked either, so the buyer figures it out. Now to the convertible top: Interior remains dry even during a driving rainstorm, and you can see that it has been repaired. Also the rear window glass needs to be re-glued...a fairly simple task I am told. You can drive like it is, or fix it. Also, power top motor runs, but the top must be raised and lowered manually. You figure it out! The SAAB is being sold at NO RESERVE and the highest bidder wins the auction.
