1988 MERCEDES-BENZ 300CE COUPE !!ODOMETER IS NOT WORKING MILES ARE NOT ACTUAL!! I bought this car in 2009. This car runs very strong. I capt it on college campus driving it to grocery store every now and then.Only thing I had to do to it is to replace the water pump. It has a brand new battery. I really like this car, but I have no place or money to restore it. So it is now up for the auction with no reserve, the highest bidder gets it. Known mechanical problems: 1. The odometer doesn't work. I don't know when it stopped working, therefore there is no way to know the actual miles. 2. There is a little shake in the tail when driving over 60 mph. 3. You have to give it a few minutes to warm up before driving it. 4. The power options don't work on the passenger seat. 5. The stereo is not connected to the speakers. 6. ABS light is always on. The paint is also coming off on the roof and the hood mostly. Please see pictures for cosmetic details. It seems that the car is in better condition that one would expect from any vehicle of this year. Please ask any questions. I AM SELLING IT AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE.
