Please read this. This car came from an estate and has possibly 4 to 6 chrome-trim sets for other 55-57 Chevys. There literally is a fortune in chrome trim inside the car. All except a couple of pieces in perfect condition. The gentleman who owned this car also had a 55-57 chevy collection. He was restoring all the cars and used the inside of the wagon as storage. If you are a parts dealer or chevrolet restorer then this car is a gold mine!!! I am going to sell the wagon with ALL OF THE EXTRA CONTENTS for just one price!! Great original color of this wagon was TURQUOISE or AQUAMARINE -you can see original color on fenders. The cowl tag of the wagon reads: Style 55-1271 Body No CL-6523 Trim-501 Paint-585 Top Acc-p. The wagon is a great candidate for restoration. It will need front frame rails or a patch. The underside structure is in great condition. Body very solid with a few rust spots. Here is list of what I just found inside the car when I unloaded it. If you look at the pictures you will realize just what I am talking about. Probably 4-6 sets of chrome/trim for 1955-57 Chevrolets ( I am making NO guarantees about how many cars trim is here-just guessing) 8 horns, radiator, 2 COMPLETE 1955 Wagon Doors with glass and all cranks,dual flowmaster exhausts, both bumpers, boxes of nos platic bagged parts,etc,dash stuff plus extra, Hurst Competition Shifter, all lights,drive shaft, springs, shocks, torsion bar, etc etc etc etc. I think you get the idea. So.....if you are buying this car to restore you can sell all this chrome and get more than you paid for the car, or if you are a dealer, you can sell the parts and end up with a Free 1955 Sedan Delivery. I just don't have the time to sell the parts. This is a once in a lifetime deal for someone....I am going to put a buy it now price of $3000 which is just a fraction of what the chrome will bring. The payment in FULL is required within 24 hours end of auction. If you cannot abide by this....do not bid. The attorney for the estate will be mailing me the title shortly.
