Vehicle Detail
Well here we have a restored 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. This year is one of the most popular years because it had a few firsts, 12 Volt electrical system, 53 HP, 1500 Motor is the original H block correct for 67, last year for the Vintage Bumpers. This Bug has had one repaint in its original Lotus White color. It has the original paint in the inside of the car. Has the original AM radio that works. Has a lighter, gas gauge, and original gas heater under the front hood with a knob on the dash to turn it on, and a vent under the glove box to let hot or cold air in. Gas heater is not hooked up and working but could be without much problem. Front windshield has been replaced with a tint on top remake, all other glass is original including the pop out rear windows, and all the windows have the stainless trim around them. This car is just like it would have been back in 1967 minus the small dress up items which this Bug has a lot of. Its done very tastefully and has a very classic look. No the seals between the fenders and body are not painted they are off white / beige just like the Wolfsburg West running boards. This bug needs nothing. I just had it tuned up, cap, rotor, plugs, valves adjusted, timing checked. Runs and drives as nice as it looks. This Bug has 5 New Coker Classic Wide White wall tires not the cheaper portawalls. The tires alone were $1400 to get here and mounted and balanced. Wheels have stainless trim rings that really dress up the tires beautifully. All lights, radio, wipers, work. Horn ring does n`t work but there is a button underneath for the horn and it works. A lot of times I have seen Bugs like that. I have copies of paper work and copies of titles of all 4 previous owners. Someone is going to be extremely happy with this beautiful Bug. People honk and smile and give the thumbs up and punch each other and say "white one" :V) If you have any questions do not hesitate to call me between 8 am and 10 Pm Central Time at 414-429-0037.On Mar-12-11 at 20:17:19 PST, seller added the following information: Reduced from $11,900 to $10,900.
