Power Ram trucks are famous for the military durability and strength of axles and transmissions. You might be a redneck if...... We purchased this truck from the original owner in 2000. We replaced the motor, radiator, rebuilt the transmission, torque converter, transfer case and oodles of ball joints, u joints, tie rod ends, etc. to the tune of $14K The important stuff: RUNS GREAT. DRIVES GREAT. 4 WHEEL DRIVE WORKS GREAT. BRAKES WORK GREAT. WINCH WORKS GREAT. There is a maintenance schedule attached. Most recently, she got 4 new tires, a tune up, and a carburetor rebuild. I still can't believe we were asked to drive her in the Christmas parade, If you have never owned a truck with a winch. This must be your lucky day. The 8,000lb rated Warn Winch will do amazing things beyond just pulling yourself out when you get hung up. We've pulled out tractors, duallys, fence posts, a foal, and other things my kids have done while I wasn't home. My favorite part is helping strangers when they get hung up. There is no radio, The horn doesn't work, but nothing compares to the sound of those hardened steel gears whining with the truck in 4L There is no carpet, there are removable rubber grommetts in the floor so you can hose the truck out (from the inside) If you are hot, and you need AC, you'll have to replace the compressor, or you can always roll down the windows. If you get cold, the Heat works great. The windshield is cracked, but the windshield wipers work great. There is rust. There are dents. There may be a side mirror missing. Hence our motivation to camo the truck. If you can't see the truck, the rust and dents are even less noticable.
