1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS Automatic; red with tan interior. This car is all original and has very low miles: 60,550. Car is an automatic with powers windows, locks, and cruise. Tan fabric interior is in very nice shape with almost no wear. I recently put in a new Pioneer CD/MP3 head unit with new speakers; iPod connects in glove box. Paint is original and very nice; there are some small imperfections here and there and a couple very small door dings but it doesn't take away from how clean looking the car is. Front bumper cover has some scratches on the bottom but all the lower black plastic inserts are intact which is rare for these cars. Plastic headlight covers have a small amount of hazing which is very common with these cars. All glass is in great shape with no cracks or chips. Cargo area, headliner, door panels and rear seats are very clean with almost no wear. Dash has zero cracks or sun damage...everything on the car is very nice. It is in great mechanical condition and has recently had a lot of maintenance. In Oct 2010, I had the timing belt replaced along with the waterpump (new factory unit NOT rebuilt), tensioner, idler bearings, and all exterior belts, and coolant hoses. In Nov 2010, I had the alternator (new NOT rebuilt) and battery replaced. In the end of Oct 2010, I added brand new 16" Enkei wheels with Dunlop Sport 8000 tires (size 205/55/16). I also replaced the rear hatch struts with factory units. The A/C blows ice cold and functions great...so does the heat. This car needs nothing and runs and drives great. A big plus is that I just had the CA smog and CA registration completed on Jan 22, 2011 so the registration is very recent and you don't have to renew it until 2012. Car also includes the set of 4 stock wheels with nice tires as an extra set if needed! This is a great commuter car or a great car for a new driver that is still sporty but cheap on insurance.
