I have for sale my gorgeous 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition with only 57,084 miles (will change as it is daily driver). This jeep is absolutely gorgeous & i have never seen another like it. Jeep teamed up with Orvis, the oldest continuously operating maker and supplier of high-quality fly fishing & outdoor sporting equimpent to create a very special Grand Cherokee. The Orvis Edition, posiitoned at the top of the Grand Cherokee lineup, it was produced in a very limited run from 1995-1997 of which only 2,341 were produced in 1996 (The rarest year). As a part of this relationship, Jeep became "the official vehicle of Orvis." The Orvis Edition reflects the distinctive look of the fine sporting gear & apparel Orvis Company has produced since before the Civil War. Seating surfaces are trimmed in a genuine leather, and the rear seat split-folds to transport longer items. With the traditional outfitting of Orvis and the four-wheel drive capability of Jeep, the Orvis Edition was featured in the publications & events of both companies. I have done my best to show accurate photos of the Jeep, & while it is the best looking jeep for its age that I have ever seen there are also some blemishes. A few light scratches here or there (nothing that wont buff out) & a small dent (less than 1/2" deep) on the passenger side rear door that looks like it may be from a shopping cart. Also as you will notice on the front bumper the plastic has cracked (was backed into) & can be replaced or fixed for a very minimal amount as parts for jeeps of this era are very cheap. The interior leather is in phenominal shape, however for some reason on the doors it has started to warp out a little bit... I have talked with a body shop & they informed me that it is common for a vehicle that sits inside a garage during the winter then goes outside & gets quite a bit colder, they also said that it is a very simple fix & that they simply apply a little adhesive in the seems & tuck it back in. The LEATHER IS NOT CRACKED anywhere & is in great shape. I have had the oil changed every 2000 to 2500 miles & as preventative maintence i had the water pump replaced & the transmission flushed less than 1,000 miles ago.
