For auction is this barn fresh project bike - 1975 Honda CB500T. Frame number CB500T-1015725 - Engine number CB500TE-1015745. The speedometer shows 3062.1 miles. The bike is titled. The key works the ignition, fork lock and seat latch. The engine turns over and has good compression. The original tool kit (very clean in the pouch) and owner's handbook are under the seat. The seat is in nice condition - no tears on the brown leather. The sissy bar pad is also in good condition. The gas tank is dented on both front corners (photos of the damage) - the inside of the gas tank will need to be cleaned. Both of the side covers are in good shape - all the mounting tabs seem to be intact. The battery that was in the bike was not any good - it has been removed. The front fender is dented on the left side (photos of the damage). The exhaust system is in good condition - no rusted through areas. There is some surface rust starting on the chrome, but it should clean up and look nice once all the dust and bird do-do is cleaned off. The headlight is in good condition - the glass has no crackes. All 4 turn signals are in place - the left rear stem is bent. The taillight lens has a crack on the top. All the handlebar switches look to be in working order. With some cleaning and tune-up the bike should make a great commuter. Sold as-is. Buyer is responsible for the cost and arranging of delivery.
