I am selling my very well-sorted and well documented 1983 Porsche 911SC Coupe. It is Slate Blue Metallic with a Dark Blue full leather interior. This car has been completely sorted mechanically, and it is 100% stock, except for the upgraded timing chain tensioners, Turbo valve covers and Turbo tie rods. The car was professionally repainted in the original color sometime in the past, and it still looks excellent. The body is straight, as are all door gaps. The car has never been hit, and is rust free! The engine runs very well, always starts right up, and pulls smoothly to the redline. Valves were adjusted last spring, and head stud torque was checked (all OK). CIS system has been gone through, with a new Airbox, Warm Up Regulator, Enrichment Control Unit, and various hoses and seals. The CAT has been replaced with a Euro pre-muffler. The transmission was rebuilt at 90,000 miles and a new clutch was installed at that time, as well as all shifter bushings, etc. Various oil leaks and “while you’re in there” things were taken care of while the engine was out. The transmission shifts very well with no grinding. Front strut assemblies and rear shocks were replaced at 95,000 miles with green Bilsteins (which is what the car originally had), along with new ball joints, 4-wheel alignment, front brake pads, and a brake fluid flush. New Turbo tie rods were installed at 88,000 miles, along with 4 new Toyo Proxes tires. The suspension is very tight and quiet. The interior is in good condition, with the drivers seat needing recovering to be perfect. All lights and electronics function as the should, including the AC. The clock runs slow. Much more than listed here has been taken care of over the years (I have over 16K in receipts for the past 6 years), and I have most of it listed at the bottom of the page. This includes many little things like heater cable replacement, good set of used heat exchangers (heat works great), brake hoses, pads, oil lines, front oil cooler thermostat, etc., etc. A detailed list spreadsheet is available (email Richergraphics@gmail.com).
