Up for sale a rare '95 BMW gs in excellent conditions. I bought this bike with the intention to go to south america with a friend but never did, i chose this particular year and model because is by many believed to be the best bike for long trips, this older GS does not have much electronics, no servo brake or ABS (big plus in my opinion), no automatic shox and similar electronic technology......very easy to fix and mantain. This bike comes with the performance upgrade (white bro full exhaust, pwr commander, KN filter); 3 original BMW hard case in very good shape (the side bags are keyed to the ignition, the big back one doesnt have a key); sargent seats (drvr,pax); wunderlich very rare and huge tank and sides bags with rain cover and map holder; euro light switch; manual cruise control; protective grille for headlight and oil cooler, and everything else is pretty much stock. I performed myself a lot of maintenance getting ready for a long trips, all this was performed about 1000miles and a few months ago: All fluid changed using top quality products (engine oil, brakes, gearbox, final drive). Valves adjusted. Throttle body sinched at idle,mid range and hi rpm. New alternator belt. Rebuilt front brake master cilynder. New spark plugs. New battery. New tires (avon wich is the best brand for GS IMO) front installed, rear not yet cuz still have plenty miles on the one i have on. Wheel spokes adjusted. KN filter cleaned and oiled. I have a brand new BMW fuel filter to be installed. PLUS....i recently bought an M97 gearbox that came out of a lightly wrecked '99 GS, it came undamaged with original shaft attached (45000miles on it). the M97 is a way better gearbox and i was going to swap it at about 100k while doing the clutch, i dont have any issues with the M94 gearbox on the bike other than the well documented rattles and noises :). value for this gearbox is about 7-800$.
