2001 Ford Crown Victoria - with tree damage - please read Up for auction is my 77 year old mother's Crown Vic. Her and my father purchased the car new. The car just turned 100,000 miles and has never given my mother an ounce of problems. The car has always had routine service but I have no service records available..my mother is not very organized. 1 1/2 weeks ago Maryland was hit by some severe storms. A large tree fell on a shed then my mother's car. The tree smashed the windshield, dented the hood, cracked the grill, and cracked the surrounding fiberglass on the front bumper. In addition to this, there are miscellaneous dents and blemishes; some from the tree, others from being a 10 year old car. After the tree was removed the car was started and moved so the tree debris can be removed. The car started and shifted without incident. The car was only moved a few hundred feet at very low speed. I don't know if there is any suspension damage or anything outside of cosmetic. My mother has a Mercedes that she uses as a primary vehicle and doesn't want to deal with fixing the car just to have as a backup. We are a large family with access to multiple vehicles. This car has a low reserve and is being sold as is. There are no warranties written or implied. And did I mention that it's being sold AS IS!
