1969 AMC Javelin restored as a vintage 1969 Saturday Night Muscle Car. Perfect for the Street or Strip enthusiast. The Body is Super Straight, No bondo, or filler. This car features a "built" Chevy 383 stroker engine with 400 HP ( ( See more eng ine details below ) ), also has the manual 5 speed Tremec transmission TKO-500, with Lakewood safety bell housing, and New Centerforce 11" dual friction s.f.i. clutch kit. This baby grabs hard, throw all RPM's you want to it, and feel it "hook" when you launch.. Yet, still suttle enough for your slower street driving. Engine has Hooker Headers, Mallory Comp-SS billet distributor with 24° degree curve & Mallory Hyfire VI digital CD Ignition box with Pro-Coil, ACCEL Performance header Spark Plugs, 300+ Plus Race Plug Wire set. Griffin Aluminum Radiator, Hays Steel s.f.i. Flywheel, Shifted with Hydraulic Clutch & Throw out bearing, Dash has all Top dollar "Phantom" Autometer Gauges... The TKO has the Billet "Hurst Shifter" & LineLock, 5" heavy duty Aluminum Drive Shaft custom made with Big 1350 Dana U-Joints, Lakewood traction bars on Ford 9" inch rear end with posi.. Also has a 20gal Aluminum RCI Fuel Cell, Trunk Mounted Battery Box with Optima Battery, Hi-Torq Mini starter, Twin 14" Electric Fans, Demon 750 Carb, Dart Heads, Scorpion Roller Rockers. Plus, all New Steel brake lines, with New Chrome 8" Brake Vacuum Booster, with Chrome Dual Master Cylinder, and Chrome Alternator, and Chrome Power steering pump, with all Billet Aluminum Pulley's, 2.5" Dual exhaust with Cross over H-pipe and Two FlowMaster Super 40's that sound Awesome ! Engine has that Great "Lopey" muscle car idle and rumble when you hit the gas. This Motor is very throttle responsive and quick.. Car has yet to go down the drag strip because still braking in the new Cam and waiting to get 500 miles broken in before any racing. Has Erson Mechanical flat tappet Cam with solid lifters 286 intake/296 exhaust. Have extra brand new Comp Cam "Big Mutha Thumper" and hydraulic lifters. Should mention engine has leaky rear main seal and needs a new 2 piece rear main intalled, which can be done with engine left in car through oil pan removal.
