1998 Honda Accord LX VTec 2.3 4cyl ULEV, Automatic - VERY CLEAN! This Honda Accord LX starts right up, idles perfect and accelerates great! This is the sought-after V-Tec motor that is also ULEV! - so it has power, fuel-saver of a 4-cyl and with Low Emissions! The Accord is a phenomenal color combination - it is called Regent Silver Metallic on the exterior, which is a light-blue tinted silver finish. The interior is similar - the color is called Lapis, which is a gray color with blue tint. Very rare color combination! The paint is in excellent condition - great shine with a pearl effect. Keep in mind, it is a USED vehicle, so it does have a few small flaws - a few scrapes on the corners on front bumper touched up with touch-up paint from Honda, one area of spider-web cracking in fiberglass on the passenger rear corner of the bumper, some paint chips and a couple dings at front edge of hood, 3 tiny dings on passenger side of the car. All of these flaws are featured in the photos (can't see the dings though - they are very very minor). Other than that - it is in exceptional condition! You WILL NOT be disappointed! The pictures are very indicative of it's condition. It is used, but well above average condition - extremely CLEAN with NO RUST. Interior is in great shape - no rips,tears or stains in the upholstery. The only mechanical flaw would be that the Power Moonroof comes off of it's track on the DR-side and has to be reset to close - I don't use it, so it stays closed - but the motor works great! Wow - this AutoCheck thing really beats this car up for someone who made a dumb error on a title transfer a few years back! The title says 'exceeds mechanical limits' because on an OH title there are three boxes available to check next to filling in the mileage when transferring the title to someone else: actual mileage, exceeds mech limits & not actual mileage. Someone marked 'exceeds' although it is not even possible to exceed the mech limit on mileage (would have to be 1,000,000 miles -yes, a million). Check the mileage history on the AutoCheck report - it all matches and there is no discrepancies indicating rollback - if there was rollback don't you think there would be a huge discrepancy of 50k or even 100k mi?? With that said, Ohio will not remove that error and so each time the registration gets renewed or title transferred, it shows a red flag and hence the automated AutoCheck score goes down. Oh, and the 'accident' had to be reported because it involved another vehicle, but nothing was turned into the insurance company becuase nothing was even fixed! - it is the paint scuff and spider web on the rear Passenger bumper cover - see accident report. It truly is a shame that score makes it appear this car has issues - it is a fantastic car that has no major issues yet has a lower score than that of a salvage car according to AutoCheck because with the automated scoring - a salvage car takes a one-time hit on the score because a salvage car has to be fully repaired and inspected before registration.
