2001 Mazda Protege LX 2.0 L 4-cyl, Automatic, 4-door 129,462 miles, 1 owner Silver exterior with gray interior. Power windows, power locks, remote keyless entry, AM-FM single CD player, Cruise control, Air conditioning, rear defrost, seats five, two LATCH harnesses in rear seat, power sunroof. Non-smoker, no dogs, no children. Always parked in a garage. Never involved in any type of accident. This 2001 Mazda Protege was purchased in November 2001 brand new. It has had one owner. This car has been in storage (in a garage) since summer 2010, after the original owner purchased a new vehicle. The exterior paint has some scratches and knicks, some visible by the pictures, some are difficult to see by the photos. No significant stains on the interior carpet. The original owner was a non-smoker. The front brake pads were changed in the summer of 2008, and have less than two years of wear on them. All four tires were changed in the summer of 2008, and have less than two years wear. The engine runs well. Other repairs include a brand new battery (February 2011), new alternator around 2007, a new EGR valve (2009). The transmission will need servicing. It often has trouble shifting into third gear. Clear title in hand. The purchaser assumes all responsibility for picking up this car or having it picked up and delivered. Since it has trouble shifting into third gear on occasion, we will not drive it to delivery it, even locally.
