California Buyers: All vehicles delivered to California resident will be
subject to Government fees and sales tax, dealer document preparation
charge, and any emission testing charge..
Out of State Buyers: Vehicles that are picked up and delivered out of
state by ICC licensed carriers will be exempt from both California Vehicle
License Fees and sales tax provided the carrier supplies the required “Bill
of Lading.” South Bay Ford will arrange for the shipper and Buyer is
responsible for all shipping costs. If a non-resident buyer takes delivery of
the vehicle within California, then California’s sales tax will be applicable.
