For Sale: Adventure. As the old ad says: "If you want to be happy for a day, drink. If you want to be happy for a year, marry. If you want to be happy for life... ride a BMW." Speaking from experience, nothing could be more true. Up for auction is my beloved 2004 BMW Cruiser. This bike has a story to tell. Bought new on September 2, 2005 from Hebert Cycles in Baton Rouge, this bike was my sole means of transportation in the aftermath of Katrina and Rita. Since then, it's taken me comfortably through half of the states in the country. Sadly, my current circumstances demand that I part ways with her. Its well-designed exterior shows a few signs of our travels and adventures - it is not in showroom condition, but if that's what you're looking for, this is probably not the bike for you. It was meant to be ridden, and it has. But it still looks great, has been meticulously cared for mechanically, and garage kept for all but 2 months during my ownership.
