Vehicle Detail

Back problems are forcing me to sell my 2003 Triumph Tiger. In excellent condition. Ideal Sport Touring bike, with detachable Triumph hard cases that double as luggage (a $1,000 factory option). Thunderbike crash bars. Yellow driving lamps mounted inside crash bars. Digital voltmeter added. Though I am 6 ft tall, I found it desirable to lower the seat 1/2 inch and the suspension 1 1/2 inches so both feet could be flat on the ground when stopped. As a consequence I shortened the kickstand (welded on a larger pad in the process) and the center stand. You no longer have to be very tall to ride a Tiger! This Tiger came with the tall OEM windscreen option. To reduce buffeting a Laminar Lip has been added to the windscreen. To stiffen the fairing and improve the appearance I installed a Triumph Sport Screen (a silver fiberglass piece, not a see-thru windscreen) and then mounted the windscreen to the Sport Screen. Bike comes with handguards. I currently have them off (not cold here) but they can be re-installed easily. While I have ridden on dirt and gravel roads, this motorcycle is too heavy to be a true off-road bike, IMO. Makes a great bike for commuting, touring, or carving up curvy roads. Is a great handling bike! Includes Triumph Tiger 955i service manual (plus a copy on CD) and owner's manual. Also included is OEM tool kit.On Feb-22-11 at 09:54:35 PST, seller added the following information: Back problems are forcing me to sell my 2003 Triumph Tiger. In excellent condition. On Feb-26-11 at 13:19:48 PST, seller added the following information: Besides the cigarette lighter type 12V outlet in the instrument panel there is a BMW type 12V outlet under the tank. There are very, very light scratches on the hard cases and 2 very small dots low on the tank where paint has worn through, probably from the previous owner's use of a strap-on tank bag. Adding close-up pics of both cases and the 2 spots. On Feb-26-11 at 13:50:31 PST, seller added the following information: Just took pics of the hard cases. There is a very faint scuff mark at front corner of the right-hand case, down low. Barely able to see with naked eye. On the left-hand case there is a very faint scuff on top, behind the rear latch. What looks like a big scratch is just a reflection...the scuff can barely be seen, just like the other one! Was able to rub out the scratches I referred to in the earlier description.
