For-sale is a 1993 XJ6 Jaguar Vaden Plas Classic project. I am listing as a project because I was in the process of restoring/customizing the Jag. This is one nice ride, the engine is very strong and runs great, the transmission shifts strong and overall the car drive train is excellent. One of the rear shock bushings will need to be replaced (part cost $40). The car has been off the road during the restoration for about a year and a half now but I have always cranked it up to keep the engine tight. The XJ6 has always had Mobil One with Lucas additive oil changes every 5-7k when I was driving it regularly. The current issue that has surface in the recent is when you go to start the Jag, it will sometimes start right away and at times it will not. It is not starter related, or fuel related but something minor that you can figure out. The power rack does have a power steering fluid leak, so I would suggest replacing the power rack (Part cost $198). The body is in great shape, with a few minor scratches, the front cowl need to be re-painted and on the driver side front fender there is a spot. The chrome on this car is a 9 ½ out of a 10. Over-all the Jag looks real good and you can see from the pictures the paint still has a great shine. The interior is super nice as well for a 1993. The wood grain is in great shape; all but the driver seat is in excellent shape. The XJ6 has an after market custom stereo system. The system consists of an in-dash player that is a TV/movie player and plays DVD, CD, Mp3 and Flash drives. All of which can be operated from the comfort of the driver’s/passenger seat. There is a mini toggle in the center console that allows you to cut the movie screen on and off. The JVC unit is also a Bluetooth device and is already set up for true cell hands free operation. There is an external mic discreetly located in the XJ so you can use your cell/smart phone over the Jag stereo system. There are two MTX amps and a Kicker sub woofer system that goes with the Car as well. The entire system with installation $4000. If you know about Jags you know how expensive it is to professionally put an after market stereo system in. Some stereo shops won’t even touch a XJ6. The shop that did this installation did a excellent job. This is a great opportunity to own a XJ6 Vaden Plas Classic for less then what the stereo cost. I have to sell the car fairly fast so I am running a no reserve auction with a 3 day window. Just like my Suburban I just sold on EBay, whatever the Jag sells for so be it, I need the driveway space.
