Vehicle Detail
Hello. I am listing my 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT today. This will be a NO RESERVE auction. High bidder will win. The car is in above average shape for the year and has only 86k miles on it. It runs and drives GREAT and everything works. The only thing I could not check today when I pulled it out of my garage is the A/C as it is only 30 degrees today, however it worked the last time I used it. It does have various chips and blemishes you would expect for the age. I used it as a fair weather driver, not a show car. The car is a part of a small collection I have and I am making room for a new addition this spring. The car has been stored indoors most of it's life and not driven in the winter for the last 18 years for sure. That is why the paint hasn't fallen off like most Fieros of this age as well as why the interior is in great condition. The seats are perfect with no rips tears or holes that you commonly see in this vintage Fiero as well as the dash corners are intact and not cracked or broken. The original sunroof pads are still in place in the front storage compartment as well as the original wind deflector. The headlight doors work as they should with no problems. You will notice that the front rims in the pictures are not stock Fiero wheels, as one of the front tires had a belt separate last fall so I bolted a pair of other Pontiac wheels I had around on the front before storing for the winter. I was planning on getting 2 new front tires this spring, however have since decided to sell when a different car came available that I need the space for as mentioned earlier. The original front rims go with the car. I did go ahead and have the old front tires dismounted so that the rims would fit in the trunk for transport for the new owner. Other than 2 tires the only repair that I am aware of that is needed that I also was going to handle in the spring is an exhaust leak at the manifold that is again very common on 6 cylinder Fieros. The great news is that it is the rear manifold gasket, not the front one and therefore MUCH easier to get to. It does not effect the current driveabilty of the car, it's just a leak that you can hear. I have clear title in hand and all the registrations are current. No surprises there. I'm sure there will be some questions, so please feel free to ask. I tried to take pictures from various angles so you can look it over good. Shipping or pick up is the responsibilty of the buyer however I will be willing to work with meeting your transport company to facilitate getting the car picked up should you choose that route. I will cancel all bids from any bidders with less than 5 positive feedback or any negative feedback unless you contact me prior to bidding. Buyer is to contact me within 24 hours of auction end and full payment is required qithin 72 hours of the end of the auction. Again, this is being sold with NO RESERVE!!! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
